[Surf] Kepa Acero – Life Escapes you, Fight for Life

Sunday, March 1st, 2015

“To live in accordance with how one thinks. Be yourself and don’t try to impose your criteria on the rest. I don’t expect others to live like me. I want to respect people’s freedom, but I defend my freedom. And that comes with the courage to say what you think, even if sometimes others don’t share those views.”

With words from former Uruguayan President José Alberto “PepeMujica Cordano under whom Uruguay became the first country in the world to fully legalize marijuana and has a become “the President every country wants”.  A former guerrilla fighter who spent a total of 13 years in jail, two of them lying at the bottom of an old horse trough is an inspiration for Kepa’s ongoing focus on surf travel and his inexhaustible stoke!
