Enjoy as Matt Bromley takes us through the trip.

Oklukai Ho’olaulea 2016- on request, I made an extended version of the race video showing the start in regular speed, which makes this video kind of long. For the shorter version please watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6-E6863NsI

Sunday, May 15th, 2016

MORE FREE SUP TRAING TIPS http://bit.ly/2cZdx7f Right after the Pro Panel: https://youtu.be/Fyl-kNhxEYc of all the elite SUP and OC1 athletes, we had some good fun with the crowd with a mini downwind training session on how to train specifically for the Olukai race on the famous downwind run called Maliko.

In this video you will learn my three components on what it takes to dominate Maliko off the start to the finish.

A special note: The race was epic and all-time. Good size surf and swell, big winds lent to very fast times.

A special thanks to the crew from Olukai and my volunteers:

Lisa Schell, Jenn Biestman, Bill Worthington and more.

Sup Surfing Jackson Close 10ft Deep 2016

Wednesday, May 11th, 2016

Jackson Close is an 4x Australian Longboard champ and an 4x Australian Sup champ. If my math is any good, thats a 8x Aussie champion. And if you add the two surfing disciplines together and multiply it with a factor of Jackson on a Deep 10’x26″x4″ it equals this.

Find the board Jackson rides: http://www.deepoceanboards.com

ISLAND MAGIC 1972 Rare Surf Film

Friday, May 6th, 2016

1972, 75 mins The poster for this film is well known but the film isn’t. Island Magic was a cool early 1970s surf film by John Hitchcock. While carefully avoiding surf spot identification, the film has footage of rarely shown locales on Maui and Kaui, along with the guys who ride the best but are seen the least, including Joey Cabell, Bob Stay, Buddy Boy, and others. The only dialogue consists of taped voice-overs by Jackie Baxter, Gerry Lopez, Dick Brewer, and Owl Chapman. A juicy session from start to finish. Starring Dick Brewer Owl Chapman Jackie Baxter Buddy Boy Kaohi Gerry Lopez Jimmy Lucas Sam Hawk & Joey Cabel
