Why did we create PaddleAthlete.com?

PA is being developed by professional SUP and paddleboarders, designers, trainers and technology folks who all share the love of the Ocean, Rivers, Dams and Waterways. Our vision is to create a community for all paddlers worldwide, give everyone the opportunity to contribute and show their love of the sport by sharing product knowledge, design know-how, training information, race/event information and much more. There is no restriction on the stuff we are able to share with one another. We have members from all over the world and our goal is that everyone has fun and learn from one another!

What fun stuff can I do on PA?

There is a ton of functionality on PaddleAthlete.com, however in order to take full advantage of it you must first register for free. What should I avoid?

SPAM - Please don’t SPAM our site with unnecessary junk links or posts in comments/forums or activity streams. We have no issue with you sharing links amongst each other but avoid linking to unrelated content from our site. Sending SPAM private messages to friends will probably cause them to de-friend at best, and we will ban your account for incessant spamming. If you have have an issue we don’t catch or are incessantly spammed by a member please post in the Support Group and we’ll take care of it.

Don’t be angry – If someone pisses you off, relax take a deep breath and then get over it. If someone is rude ignore them, or if a member posts content that is objectionable please post the link into the Support Forum.

Note to SEO Professionals - Please don’t post junk on the site. Most importantly we have NoFollow on any external links in all places you are able to post so you’ll be wasting your time. If you want access to our members you will have to register like everyone else and provide long term value to your friends, and then they may listen.  Thanks! If you would like to share content send us an email using the feedback form.
