XSWIM for Surfers Training Program

If we spend 100% of our time in the water, and 85% of the active time is paddling, where we are physically using the water to move around, then why do we have surfing fitness programs only on land?

XSWIM is a pool based, high intensity surfing training program designed to help you increase strength, endurance, agility, balance, and flexibility.

XSWIM achieves this through surfing specific swim sets and water drills created to keep you connected to the water combined with dryland surf specific, transitional movement exercises. Transitional movement is moving from one body positioning to another in quick succession, much like the natural surfing experience – moving from prone to popping up, bottom turn to top turn combo and into the barrel.

The entire program is designed to help you get the most out of each surf session.

The XSWIM for Surfers 30 day Surfing and Paddling Fitness Program Level 1, starts you out building a baseline fitness level and takes you through becoming stronger and more confident in water, so that you can be ready for whatever the ocean throws at you.

You can watch the overview videos to get an idea of what the workout for that particular day is going to look like, and then either use the videos at the pool or print out the pdf workout pool cards to use as a guide when performing the workout that day.
The workout pool cards guide you through each workout using easy descriptions and clear and concise pictures, and if you still need some assistance, reference the Exercise Instructional Manual which describes exactly how to do each exercise.

Keep track of your progress using the XSWIM Program Guide, marking off the workouts you’ve completed and looking forward to the upcoming challenge days.

Once you’ve successfully conquered level 1, go beyond 30 days and try Levels 2 and 3. With new swim exercises that challenge your lungs, muscles, and mind, you’ll come out of finishing levels 2 and 3 with extreme confidence in the water.
